“I am having problems opening files within Moodle”

Check that you have the correct software application to open the files installed on your computer.

Your computer could be running a pop-up blocker that is blocking you from downloading/opening files. To rectify this, in your browser locate the Tools menu and de-select the pop-up blocker.

If you are using Internet Explorer, you may see a yellow bar below the IE toolbar stating “To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for options….” - Click on the yellow bar and select “allow content”.

“I’m not sure how to use other Moodle tools such as taking a quiz or submitting an assignment”
